Our Ecumenical Foundations
Templar College is built upon an ecumenical Christian foundation. We are a fraternal and chivalric Order of Knighthood that honors and represents the full body of Christendom. Our student body and fellowship embrace all major Christian traditions—including Catholic, Protestant, Anglican, and Orthodox believers—unifying everyone who professes faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Important Notice: Our Order and educational institution maintain absolutely no affiliations with Freemasonry, secret societies, or any political organizations.
Historical Legacy and Modern Mission
Historically, the Knights Templar were founded in 1118 A.D. on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to protect pilgrims traveling through the Holy Land. While the ancient knights wore steel armor to engage in physical battles, today’s Templars are faced with a spiritual battle instead of a physical one. Templar College exists to equip modern Knights, Dames, and believers with the knowledge required to defend Christendom through non-violent, intellectual, and benevolent means.

- Spiritual & Intellect Defense: Spreading the light of Christ in an increasingly dark world and defending Christendom through non-violent means.
- Academic & Historical Studies: Promoting deep research into medieval history, heraldry, Christian theology, and the genealogy of the Order.
- Benevolence & Mercy: Instilling a dedication to active charity, works of mercy, and solidarity between all people.
- Christian Unity: Acting as a functional force to unify all Christians under a single banner, standing together against powerful adversaries.
Our Mission
To unite Christians of all traditions in the love of God, to promote peace, charity, and unity in a world where faith is often weakened, to honor and safeguard the Word of God as revealed in the Holy Scriptures, and as faithful servants of Christ, to help restore trust, humility, and respect within the Christian faith.
Our Vision
The Knights Templar of the Philippines – OTJ is an ecumenical fellowship of Christian Knights dedicated to reflecting the benevolent character of God through charitable works and personal Christian growth. The Order seeks to help others grow in their faith while serving our Lord and Liege, Jesus Christ, by upholding the principles of chivalry and the virtues that guide a Christian life.
